These Terms of Service (“Terms”) set out the terms under which Families Work Limited (trading as “Babyem”) provides its online training services. By purchasing, enrolling in, or using any of our services, you agree to be bound by these Terms. Please read them carefully before proceeding.

Babyem offers online training programs, digital downloads, and optional community access related to sleep, childcare, maternity, and related fields. Services are provided through our custom WordPress-based course platform and tools such as Searchie.
Course access is provided on a lifetime basis, conditional upon full payment being received. If payment plans are not completed, access may be revoked. Some bonus materials, coaching, or community access may have time-limited availability.
Details of pricing and payment options are provided on the course sales pages and checkout. By law, consumers have a right to cancel and request a refund within 14 days of purchase. Refund policies may be extended or varied depending on the course, and any additional refund rights will be clearly stated.

We reserve the right to remove any participant from the community without warning if these guidelines are breached. Removal does not entitle the participant to a refund.
Our training content is for educational purposes only. It is not a substitute for medical advice, psychological therapy, or professional healthcare services. Always consult appropriate professionals regarding medical or therapeutic concerns.
All training materials, including videos, downloads, workbooks, and course content, are the intellectual property of Families Work Limited. These materials may not be copied, distributed, modified, or used for commercial purposes without prior written consent.
We aim to respond to tech or support queries within 48 business hours. Queries may be sent to [email protected]. During peak periods, response times may vary slightly.
By using our services, you agree to our Privacy Policy.
We use third-party platforms and tools, including Facebook, Zoom, and Searchie, to deliver some of our services. We are not responsible for service interruptions, policy changes, or any technical issues arising from these platforms.
Where relevant, accredited certificates are awarded through Open College Network London Region. Certificates are only issued upon successful completion of coursework and once all course fees have been fully paid.
We reserve the right to revoke access to training materials or community spaces for users who remain inactive for prolonged periods or who violate our Terms, even outside of the community groups. Access revocation does not entitle the user to a refund.
If you enrol via a payment plan or subscription, payments will be processed automatically on a recurring basis. It is your responsibility to ensure your payment method remains valid. Failed payments may lead to suspended access. You may cancel subscriptions within the agreed timeframe, but cancellation does not waive outstanding instalments.
We are not liable for delays or failure to deliver services due to events beyond our reasonable control, including but not limited to natural disasters, strikes, or internet outages.
Before initiating any legal proceedings, both parties agree to attempt informal resolution through mediation or arbitration. We believe in resolving matters quickly and respectfully wherever possible.
These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes arising from these Terms or the use of our services shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
17.1 In addition to its training programmes, Babyem operates a Newborn Care Placement Scheme and a Holistic Sleep Coaching Directory (together, the “Introduction Services”). This clause sets out the legal basis on which those services are provided.
17.2 Babyem is a training provider and directory/introduction platform. Babyem does not act as an employment agency or employment business within the meaning of the Employment Agencies Act 1973 or the Conduct of Employment Agencies and Employment Businesses Regulations 2003.
17.3 Graduates and coaches listed on Babyem’s platforms (“Listed Practitioners”) are independent individuals. They are not employees, workers, or contractors of Babyem. Babyem does not enter into any contract of employment or contract for services with Listed Practitioners in connection with the Introduction Services.
17.4 Families who register with the Introduction Services (“Registering Families”) make their own independent decision whether to engage any Listed Practitioner. Babyem does not make that decision on a family’s behalf, does not recommend any individual as suitable for any particular family’s circumstances, and does not guarantee any outcome from any introduction.
17.5 Any arrangement entered into between a Registering Family and a Listed Practitioner is a direct, private arrangement between those two parties. Babyem is not a party to that arrangement and has no responsibility for its performance, content, or outcome.
17.6 Babyem does not supervise, direct, manage, or control Listed Practitioners during any placement or coaching engagement. Babyem is not responsible for the conduct, acts, or omissions of any Listed Practitioner in connection with any placement or engagement.
17.7 Listing in the Babyem directory or placement scheme confirms only that the Listed Practitioner has completed the relevant Babyem training programme. It does not constitute an endorsement of any individual’s competence, conduct, or suitability for any particular family’s circumstances.
17.8 The £15 family registration fee is an administrative charge covering platform access and the safeguarding and orientation call. It is not paid in consideration of any introduction or supply of a worker and is non-refundable once the orientation call has taken place.
17.9 To the fullest extent permitted by law, Babyem’s liability in connection with the Introduction Services is limited to the amount of any administrative fee paid by the relevant party in connection with that service.
