Experience nanny over 10 years/ maternity nurse since 2016
  • London, United Kingdom
  • 6, August 2023

My name is Sonia 54 years old. I am  French. I've got more than 13 years of experience as a nanny in the U.K. And other years in France. which is one year in a VIP family in Scotland.

I obtained my diploma as a maternity Nurse course OCN level 4 in 2016 with Babyem. I already trained by looking after twins 8 weeks old, and other babies. Ofsted registered, paediatric first aid, DBS check update service.

I am confident looking after newborns and of course, toddlers,  I can assist the mum/dad in this new role as a parent.

My first placement as a maternity nurse was memorable in 2016.  I help a mother who had twins 8 weeks old plus a toddler 3 years old. She had postpartum and couldn't look after her new babies. We are still in contact and she thanks me for my help during this difficult time. I am speechless because I never looked after twins and I did it. When you are passionate you can move a mountain.

My goal as a maternity nurse is to help the mum/dad by supporting them in all aspects such as settling the baby into a daily routine, feeding, bathing, massage and sleeping, during this magical moment they will spend with their new baby.
