1.1 This policy sets out the terms for cancelling or rebooking a place on Babyem's Blended Maternity Nurse Training (Level 3 and Level 4).
1.2 Please read this policy in full before booking. By booking your place, you confirm that you have read, understood and accepted these terms.
1.3 Our face-to-face training days are planned well in advance. We arrange venues and tutors for each date and offer a limited number of places, so that every student receives the time and attention they need. This policy explains how we manage changes fairly for all of our students.
1.4 In this policy:
2.1 You may cancel your booking for any reason within 14 days of receiving your Booking Confirmation and receive a full refund.
2.2 This applies even if you have already started the online learning.
2.3 This right to cancel does not apply if you attend any of your face-to-face training within the 14-day period. Once you have attended, the terms in sections 3 and 4 apply.
2.4 We will process your refund within 14 days of receiving your cancellation, using the payment method you used to book. Your access to the online course will close once your cancellation has been processed.
3.1 Once the 14-day period has ended, we are unable to offer a refund.
3.2 We understand that circumstances can change. For this reason, you may instead rebook your face-to-face training onto another date, as set out in section 4.
4.1 You may move your face-to-face training to another available date. A rebooking fee applies, based on how much notice you give us before your Training Date:
4.2 The fee increases as the Training Date approaches because it becomes much harder for us to offer the place to another student at short notice.
4.3 All rebookings are subject to availability on the new date.
4.4 Rebooking your face-to-face training does not affect your online learning, which remains available to you as normal.
4.5 If you do not attend your face-to-face training and have not contacted us beforehand, the fee for less than 7 days' notice will apply to rebook.
5.1 If you are unable to attend your face-to-face training because of a medical emergency, we will rebook you onto another available date free of charge.
5.2 To help us arrange this, please let us know as soon as possible and provide a note or letter from your doctor or hospital confirming that you were unable to attend.
5.3 If we do not receive medical evidence, the rebooking fees in section 4 will apply.
6.1 If you cancel within the 14-day period, we will refund all payments made and cancel any remaining instalments.
6.2 After the 14-day period, all remaining instalments continue to be payable, including where you rebook your face-to-face training.
7.1 On rare occasions, we may need to change or cancel a face-to-face training date. If this happens, we will contact you by email and telephone as soon as possible.
7.2 You may then choose either to transfer to another available date free of charge or to receive a full refund.
7.3 Babyem cannot accept responsibility for travel, accommodation or other costs you have arranged. We recommend booking these on flexible or refundable terms.
8.1 To cancel or rebook, please email info@babyem.co.uk with your full name, the course you are enrolled on and your Training Date.
8.2 The notice period is calculated from the date we receive your email. We will confirm all changes to your booking in writing.
8.3 This policy does not affect your statutory rights.
