My experience of working with mothers and newborns stemmed from a passion for newborns. I am a mother of 3 children and thus always seeking opportunities to provide added value to families I work with in terms of the support and guidance that I provide. I have successfully supported mothers and their babies for over five years.
I am a qualified Maternity Nurse in Childcare Maternity Nursing Course – OCN Level 3. The ability to help in caring and providing the necessary support for mothers and their babies has been a fulfilling experience for me. I have also been able to help mothers create a workable, comfortable, and stable feeding routine for their babies, while also establishing comfortable sleeping patterns.
Supporting mothers with single babies is one of my competencies and encouraging parents on anxiety, stress, and exhaustion which could occur during the early years of child development.
In addition, I help in organizing and tidying up the babies’ nurseries. I also ensure their feeding equipment is sterilized properly before they are used for the babies’ feeds.
The aim to help mothers and fathers settle beautifully into a workable routine is paramount to me and providing steps that are reassuring and help ensure the parenthood journey is as seamless and enjoyable as possible.
