Experience with new born babies following both planned and emergency C-sections and also whose birth involved the use of mechanical aids
Experience of caring for babies born with congenital illnesses or have gone through difficult births.
Support with breastfeeding and baby latching on, bathing and settling baby to sleep.
My goal is to ensure that a baby's experience of their new life into the world is as smooth and pleasant as it can be, ensuring that any anxiety that the mother may have is alleviated and not transferred to the baby. With the baby settled, this also tranfers to the mother as they have a natural connection.

Looking after baby Zari from new born until their first birthday.
Assisted with feeding, sleeping, bathing and changing, baby massage.
Looked after baby Emily from newborn to 15 months.
Worked Nights and supported with feeding, bathing, changing and settling for bed. Also did baby massage especially after a long day of being out and about.
Cared for the baby when they were affected by colic.
Baby also had allergy which was discovered by observation of rejection of some foods.
Looked after both her children. Baby Michael born 1/9/17 and then baby Jonathan when he was born 30/08/19.
Worked Nights to support single mother with caring for the babies - breastfeeding and bottle feeding, transitioning to solids, bathing and settling for sleep.
Supported baby Jonathan who suffered with colic.
Looked after baby Trudie as a Night Maternity Nurse. Supported Ms Gango who was a single and first time parent with caring for the new born baby. Cared for baby with all aspects of bottle-feeding, bathing, massage, sleep. Mother had a planned C-section birth but required plenty of support as a single parent.
Cared for baby Nai who was born following an emergency C-section. She was found to have a heart condition and so was in and out of hospital undergoing several operations. I supported the mother in caring for the baby and as this was their first baby, it was very crucial that the baby and parents were cared for in a very compassionate way considering the trauma of the birth.
Supported the mother with breastfeeding and bottle-feeding as the baby was often in hospital through the first few days and months of her life.
